Two holiday homes in the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees
Finca Retreat
For a holiday, a mountain retreat or a workshop you can stay with us in Casa del Maestro or in Casa Milan near the village of Juseu.
The houses have been furnished with love for authenticity. They are rented independently and they are self catering. Both houses are scattered located on our finca with its own orchards (almonds, olives and fruit), a large vegetable garden with winter orangery / greenhouse and a botanical garden with a shade veranda for our guests.
Juseu
Juseu is an authentic village nestled on top of a mountain (2500 feet) at the foothills of the Spanish Pyrenees. The village is situated at the end of a small road (5 km) winding up into the green hills. The views are spectacular. Here you can experience spaciousness, breath the clean mountain air, feel the stillness. Juseu provides a starting point for endless walks in an area of great natural beauty.

In 1995 we found this magical place and our love story began.
During several years we restored the houses and little by little they regained their old beauty ... Since then the houses provide a welcome place for our guests.

And we recovered the abandoned land of the finca ... Based upon the principle of permaculture, we grow and harvest with passion many beautiful products (100% organic) from our own land.
Surroundings
The lake is a short drive away for swimming and water sports. The rio Esera offers rafting and the Sierra de Guarra provides opportunities for canyoning. Driving back via Barbastro, you will pass the wineries of the Denomination Somonatano.
Near Panillo is the Tibetan Buddhist center Dag Shang Kagyu with a program that can be found on the internet.
The spectacular hike in the Mont Rebei gorge is a recommendation if you are here. And you can make stunning excursions to the national parks of Ordesa, Posets Maladeta and Aigüestortes in the high mountains of the Pyrenees which is our view from Juseu.
Furthermore, there are several beautiful villages (Graus, Benabarre, Roda de Isabena, Aínsa, Alquézar) to visit with lots of bars and restaurants.

Location
Juseu is located in the Ribagorza area in Huesca / Aragon / Spain.
The nearest cities are Huesca (65 km), Lerida (59 km) and Zaragoza (116 km).
Barcelona is 2.5 hours drive from Juseu. There is a perfect bus connection between Barcelona and Barbastro (20 km from Juseu).
