Rental conditions

1. In General
By making the reservation the hirer declares to accept these terms and conditions of hire.
2. Payment and terms of payment
You are expected to make a downpayment of 50% of the rental price within 8 days after reservation. The remaining sum is due upon a month before arriving.
3. Reservation and receipt
After the deposit has been received, a receipt will be sent to the hirer. Together with the receipt, you will receive a route description, outlining the exact location of the rented home.
4. Arrival and departure
For Casa del Maestro the rental week is from Saturday to Saturday, for Casa Milan this is from Sunday to Sunday.
The arrival time is between 16.00 and 24.00 pm. and departure time is before 10.00 am.
Different arrival or departure hours must be arranged well in advance.
5. Maximum number of persons
The maximum number of persons agreed to stay in the rented home may not be exceeded, unless in consultation with the lessor or the caretaker of the house.
6. Cancellation by the hirer
Cancellations must be confirmed to the lessor by email. Immediately after receipt of the written cancellation, the lessor will send a confirmation of the cancellation.
In case of cancellation untill four weeks before the arrival date, 50% of the rent will be charged. In case of cancellation after four weeks before the arrival date, 100% of the rent will be charged.
We recommend taking out a travel and cancellation insurance.
7. Cancellation by the lessor
The lessor reserves the right to annul the hire agreement without any costs, in the case of non-compliance with the rental conditions.
In case of Acts of God (for example fire, natural disasters etc.), the lessor may annul the hire agreement without compensation. Refunds cannot be made, but in consultation the booked period wil be moved to a appropriate time.
8. Liability
During his stay in the rental home, the hirer is totally liable for the house, its interior and other accessories. Any possible damage caused by (negligence of) the hirer during his stay, will be charged to him.
In case of accidents or personal injury in and around the house or in case of loss of money or goods, the lessor cannot accept any liability.
